Water issues will be the priority of the Indonesian parliament and parliamentary diplomacy.
“This forum serves as an opportunity to show Indonesia’s commitment to maintaining and managing water for prosperity to the world,” Puan said at the opening of the Parliamentary Meeting on the occasion of the 10th World Water Forum at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) on Monday, 20 May.
The Parliamentary Meeting of the 10th World Water Forum adopted the theme “Mobilizing Parliamentary Action on Water for Shared Prosperity.” Through this theme, members of parliaments across the globe will have the opportunity to take action to overcome the water crisis and scarcity.
