Bali – Indonesia will soon hold the 10th World Water Forum scheduled for May 18-25, 2024. It is an honor for Indonesia to be able to hold a high-level international conference for the umpteenth time.
On Wednesday (27/03/2024), the National Organizing Committee of the 10th World Water Forum and World Council visited Bali to ensure through preparations for the Forum which is scheduled for 18-25 May 2024.
Site Visit, First Day
The team carried out site visits to several venues, namely the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), Bali International Convention Center (BICC), Nusa Dua Beach Hotel (NDBH) and organized a meeting with the CEO of the Professional Conference Organizer (PCO).
Special Advisor to the Minister of Public Works and Housing (MPWH) for Water Resources Management, also as Chairman of the Registration, Website & Information Systems Division of the National Organizing Committee of the 10th World Water Forum, Firdaus Ali, said that the entire member of committee continued to work together to prepare the infrastructures and agendas for the 10th World Water Forum.
"We will give best and prove to the international community that Indonesia is capable of facilitating a global forum for discussions and solutions to the water challenges," said Firdaus in Bali on Wednesday (27/03/2024).
The team has visited Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) which will be the venue for the 10th World Water Forum Fair & Expo and its opening, scheduled for 20 May 2024. The Venues for Fair & Expo are also planned to be spread out across BICC and Kuta Beach.
The visit was followed by an on-site inspection of Bali International Convention Center (BICC) which will be used for the Opening Ceremony and High Level Meeting starting on 20 May 2024 ang Nusa Dua Beach Hotel (NDBH) which will be utilized for registration activities.
The Final activity was closed with a joint Meeting with the CEO of the Professional Conference Organizer (PCO) to discuss the progress of preparations for the organization of the 10th World Water Forum. Attending the meeting, all divisions consisted to field 1 to 8 of the National Organizing Committee of the 10th World Water Forum.
