Minister Basuki Visited Country Pavilions at the 10th World Water Forum Fair & Expo

Nusa Dua, May 24 2024 – Indonesian Minister of Public Works and Housing (MPWH) Basuki Hadimuljono visited a number of pavilions of participating countries at the 10th World Water Forum Fair & Expo at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center on Friday (5/24/2024). 

Minister Basuki, who is also the Vice Chairman of the National Organizing Committee of the 10th World Water Forum, first visited the Japanese Pavilion, located just outside the gates of the Fair & Expo, and seemed to listen earnestly to the explanations of each of the research and innovation center presentation interspersed with group photos and selfies with visitors.

"The minister seemed excited about the technological innovations in water infrastructure, irrigation and sabo techniques from our country," said one of the stand attendants.

Minister Basuki, who was accompanied by Director General of Cipta Karya MPWH Diana Kusumastuti, also visited the Korea Pavilion and listened to an explanation of the innovative water distillation technology developed in the Ginseng country before moving on to the next event.

The 10th World Water Forum Fair & Expo was attended by 116 participants from 17 countries, occupying a number of organizational and country pavilions. The exhibition can be visited from May 20-24. (Natalia Santi)
